Scootpad Web Learning Platform

Throughout the course of ISTE last week, we saw a ton of great companies, a ton of interesting software, and some great robotics kits. Generally, however, all of these different products fell into a few main areas. As such, ScootPad really went against the norm. ScootPad offers a web based learning platform, aimed at the K-5 age groups. In the time we have been covering EdTech, ScootPad is one of the very few companies we have seen that offer web based content and tools to that young of an age group:

ScootPad is an adaptive learning platform for Common Core Standards in Grades K-5 (Math, Reading, Spelling, Vocabulary, Writing etc.). ScootPad delivers continuously personalized learning experience for each student enabling comprehensive practice, accelerated progress and rapid concept mastery.1

ScootPad, other than the young target age, acts very much like your standard web based assessment platform. Teachers can assign work, follow students progress, and get in-depth analytics on each students’ performance. “Get real-time insights that enable in-depth student progress and proficiency tracking. Parents & Teachers can assign/review homework (Math Practice, Reading Practice, Spelling Practice, Reading Log etc.) and kids can complete/review their homework all online on ScootPad.”2

During ISTE, we had a chance to swing by the ScootPad booth. While we were there, we saw a detailed demo of the platform. Head on over to ScootPad.com for more info.
