A Munich based company has created what could be the most amazing pair of headphones to date. The Dash, is their new wireless in ear headphones (not to be confused with earbuds). These full feature headphones have everything you would expect from a wireless headphone system and a whole lot more.
When we say a whole lot more, this time we really mean it. Bragi has managed to take some of the biggest technology innovations of recent time and rolled them all into one. The internet of things, sensors, wireless headphones, Bluetooth, stand alone music player, fitness tracker and heart rate monitor. We see at least three stand alone gadgets in that list of bonus features alone.
The Dash is a wireless, in ear headphone, MP3 player, microphone, Bluetooth headset, Fitness Tracker and heartrate monitor. All of those gadgets would cost you over $500, The Dash starts at just $179.

In addition The Dash offers unparalleled Bluetooth headset capabilities. The Dash records your voice through the ear bone reducing ambient noise significantly making it easier for the person on the other end to hear you. The Dash headphones are noise canceling so you can block out noise around you. However, in situations where you need to hear what’s going on around you, like navigating your bike through traffic or jogging through the park, one swipe of the touch control on your ear and you can go into what the company calls “audio transparency” mode which lets you hear your music and your calls but also the noise going on around you.
The Dash also works nicely with several third party apps including music players and other fitness trackers/regimen apps. And of course it’s all controlled by Bragi’s own mobile app. The app keeps track of your workout and can even suggest other workouts.
So while we see hundreds of wireless headphones a year, Bragi seems to be onto something that just about anyone who loves to listen to music would find some use for.
