We had a chance to ask the Connecto team a few questions about their products:

Who is your product aimed at?
Our product aims at increasing website conversions, user engagement and reducing bounce rates. All online businesses, whether sales focused or lead focused, are our customers.
Why did you build Connecto?
Nowadays, when everything is going online every website owner wants to increase conversions and user engagement. That is when connecto comes to light. Our widgets help businesses increase their conversions upto 200% by targeting visitors based on their interests and browsing behavior.

How is Connecto different from what is currently available?
Connecto is way better than its competitors in the sense that it is a unified platform that helps businesses interested in capturing leads or in generating sales. It works at the top of the funnel in improving engagement and conversions for the websites and can also be integrated with their downstream systems.
Tell us your founding story. Was there an “ah ha” moment?
After doing B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Delhi and having spent 4+ years with technology team in a hedge fund, I was keen on starting my own business. During the same time, my college senior Saurabh Mathur who was working with Google Mountain View, had similar plans. Both of us quit our jobs and started our an eCommerce venture. While working on the same idea, we constantly felt a need for separating marketing related technology from core product. That is when the idea of Connecto was born and that was our “ah ha” moment.
Tell us about your founding team and their backgrounds.
1. Saurabh Mathur (Co-Founder) – Studied Computer Science at IIT Delhi (2005) and Columbia University (2007).
2. Jagmal Singh (Co-Founder) – He did his B. Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Delhi.
What’s the next step? What are your short-term goals?
Currently, we have about 50 customers. We aim to increase this number to at least 100 till the end of this year.
