Among all of the apps that will be on display at this years One Spark, one really speaks to me. Fangate solves one of my biggest problems. Sports fans, especially those who follow out of market teams, can have a hard time finding a bar or restaurant that is your teams bar: the Steelers Bar, or the Eagles Bar, or the Braves Bar for instance. It can be a major hassle, at times. to watch your team play if you aren’t in the designated, or most of the times by default, team bar. No more!
Fangate solves this problem. Fangate allows you to, “Find the Places that support your Fellow fans and congregate anywhere! A mobile application and Web platform for finding other fans!”1 There are a couple of apps that already perform a similar function, but they are not that thorough:
There is only one mobile app currently available, we are filling this need with our platform and disrupting the market by creating competition with better data and interaction. Our platform not only brings the fans into new venues but the data captured creates marking demographics that will help Sports teams more readily know where there fan markets are outside of the Teams original cities.2
