The first Playstation 4 unboxing video actually comes from Sony itself so we’re still eagerly awaiting an official reviewers unboxing video. In the meantime you can check out Sony’s unboxing video below.
The video shows everything you get in the box including all the vouchers for freebies. Millions of people will get to unbox these boxes themselves come this Friday morning when the Sony PlayStation 4 officially goes on sale.
Engadget points out that the video resembled Daft Punk’s video Random Access Memories Unboxed that was released in May. They are quick to point out that it’s a little weird despite the fact that Daft Punk is signed to the Sony Music label. Sony isn’t afraid to call on their other units to promote their tech products. In 2012 Wil Smith and Carrie Underwood were the highlights at the company’s CES press conference.
