With all the excitement of Thanksgiving and Black Friday, ok probably more excitement for the latter, I don’t want us to forget about Chanukah which starts at sundown tomorrow evening.
Although I’ve taken a year off from doing it, one of the most popular posts every on thedroidguy.com was my annual rewrites of Adam Sandler’s the Chanukah song, but instead of movie stars and celebrities, paying homage to the Jewish people in technology. In 2011 and 2012 I only re-wrote the lyrics. My daughter convinced me this year I should sing it too, so I did.
The singing is absolutely terrible (she says it’s great) and just before you start poking around and making this into something more than just a fun Chanukah greeting, I am also Jewish, in fact my last name is Sandler, and while I often say “Sandler like Adam” when someone mistakes my last name for Sander or Sanders, I am actually NOT related to the more popular Sandler. (I did invite him to my first wedding and he sent a present though)
So enjoy the 2013 version of the tech Chanukah song.
