Back in December we reported on Samsung’s monstrosity of a 4K television, the $150,000 110″ tv that turned heads with it’s amazing display and turned people off with it’s horrendous price. Of course we all know that television technology quickly falls into the rank and fife, in quick, but due time.
Now Tom’s Guide is reporting that Samsung has made the introduction into the home with a 28″ 4K, ultra HD, monitor, the UD950.
The UD950 is technically a computer monitor but we all know it can be easily connected with a set top box, or a connected Samsung device to stream television, video and movies to the display. You can get one for your home for just $699.
Now before you bulk at $699 for a 28″ screen, being that you may have just purchased a 60″ screen for the same price, ultra-HD is even eons better than traditional HD. If you didn’t think that was possible, just watch one.
The UD950 boasts 1 billion different colors and a 1milisecond response time which makes it the ultimate viewing machine for gamers, sports enthusiasts and fans of raging action thrillers. The monitor has a very thin, non obtrusive design that makes it easy to accessorize.
The UD950 is the dual display users ultimate monitor. There are two additional HDMI ports which allow picture in picture but also the ability to display two screens, side by side on the same monitor. You can also use the picture in picture feature to watch a smaller 1080p video without sacrificing the rest of the screen.
