Samsung has been able to move millions of their Android devices over the years, and various devices have hit 10 million sold over the course of time. Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Note 3 will be the latest entrant into the club as the device has reached 10 million units sold in only two months. Last year the Note 2 took nearly 5 months to hit the 10 million mark, so doing so in less than half the amount of time is quite the accomplishment. The only device that has sold quicker than the Note 3 was the Galaxy S4 which hit 10 million devices in 50 instead of 60 days, not a huge difference.
Lately phablets have become extremely popular among users and it seems as though each year the demand is getting stronger and stronger. Samsung understands the demand, and understands what users are expecting when purchasing these devices and that definitely contributes to their sales. With the addition of the S-Pen, the ability to display two separate applications on the screen at the same time and plenty of other great software additions Samsung has nailed down the user experience.
Samsung has already said that they have extremely high hopes for device sales in 2014, and likely a Note 4 will be part of that plan. As Samsung refines the devices and the experiences that they offer they will continue to sell at an extremely rapid pace.
