We already told you a little bit about LINEVENT and what the company is doing for events. Also falling into the event theme, SNAPprints is another interesting app that will be on display at this years One Spark. Although in the same broad category, SNAPprints is completely different that LINEVENT. SNAPprints is an event-based photo sharing/managing application. So if you are hosting an event, SNAPprints allows you to “sign up on the website as the event host, write a short description, choose the maximum number of images someone can upload, set a time limit, and that’s it!”1
Unlike most photo apps, SNAPprints marries Foursquare and Facebook together: our app provides event venue information so you can get there and invite others to join you, you can upload photos to the app instantly, and you can share and view the event photos with those around you — without having to know or be connected to them through social media channels. Plus, SNAPprints frees you from grudging the hired photographer for getting all the good shots — you get to see the event from every angle.2
SNAPprints creates a pretty unique experience by allowing you to combine your own event pictures with the crowds’ pictures:
With SNAPprints, you’ll not only see your own photos, but photos from everyone else using the app at the affair, giving you an immersive voyeuristic experience. By the way, there’s always the +1 button to invite friends if the event calls for company.3
Unlike a lot of the One Spark Creators, the SNAPprints App is currently available on the iTunes Store. We are definitely looking forward to checking out their booth.
