Samsung continues their tireless effort to take over the tablet space currently dominated by Apple’s iPad.

Going back three generations now, Samsung continues to release two models of their flagship tablet. This generation is no different. With the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 which will be available in a 7″ and a 10.1″ model as well.

Last week the 7.0 version of the tablet leaked. This week notorious Samsung leak Twitter account @evleaks showed off two images of the forthcoming Galaxy Tab 4, 10.1.

TalkAndroid reports that the Galaxy Tab 4 will feature a quad core Qualcomm SnapDragon 400 processor, 1.5gb of RAM and 16gb of storage. The 10.1 will also come in two colors, white and black.

Many speculate that we could see the release of the Galaxy Tab 4 as soon as April 16th which is the date that is set in the promotional images that Samsung has released.

Apple is reportedly hard at work with an update of the iPad Air and a possible 12″ MacBook/iPad hybrid which we could see as soon as this fall.

One things for sure, it may be time for a reboot on Samsung’s naming strategy.
