bounceit-duckI’d say once a month, if not more frequently, I see a post on Facebook talking about how the dislike button is coming to the world’s largest social network. I’ve seen posts that say if they get 1 million likes Facebook will add the dislike button. I’ve seen other posts that say to click, comment or share and Facebook will add the button. Newsflash, they haven’t yet.

But Knoxville Tennessee company bounceit!has.

bounceit! is a mobile app that lets you quickly upload photos, write a brief description of something and then let people like or not like it.  The app then takes the process a bit further by showing the bouneit! community just how the voting is going. You see real time results in a graph right below whatever it is your “bouncing”.

Apps like Hot Or Not and Tinder have carved out a nice little space for something like bounceit! but where those apps fall short, bounceit! makes up for it quite nicely.

Like for instance bounceit! gives users the opportunity to post about whatever they want. Politics, the latest movies, sporting events, Justin Bieber, President Obama’s Obamacare and now Phil Roberston.

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Roberston, sent the interwebs ablaze on Wednesday and Thursday of this week after he made some off the cuff remarks about gay sex and homosexuality in general. First the gay, anti-gay debate took off and then of course freedom of speech. Newsflash, when you’re doing a show for a company, like A&E, the company, not the people ultimately decide what stays and what goes. In this case Roberstson went, because A&E has put him on “hiatus indefinitely”.

America seemed outraged on all three sides of the debate. Facebook groups went up, petitions were sent out and everyone in America seemed to sound off.

Well if you got tired of good ole Phil taking up space in your timeline you probably wanted to unlike half the posts just for the mere fact that they prevented you from seeing pictures of Christmas lights, Christmas trees and that damn elf on the shelf.

So take to bounceit! you can dislike the DuckDynastyGate til your hearts content, and even share it on Facebook. Download bounceit! here at the iTunes app store.
