Did you ever have a handout happy teacher as a kid? I know I did, in fact I had quite a few. Poor teachers though, they would spend hours upon hours laying things out by hand, typing blurbs and instructions up on a typewriter or computer and then adding graphics with a razorblade and layout tape. Many teachers would create good handouts and then use the same handouts for 15 years.
In 2014 there has to be a better way, and there is, well wait there will be.
The better way is called Handouts of course and it’s a new app designed for paperless workflow for tablet oriented teachers and students in a complete solution. So not only do you have a way to create handouts but you have a way to distribute, organize and grade handouts as well. Handouts solves these problems with a complete end-to-end workflow solution that works without email, attachments or printing.
Gone are the days that a teacher needs to make sure their students got a handout. After the creation process, one click insures that all the students in the class get the handout. Easy enough right?
“We are lucky to be the only product that solves a much needed solution to an everyday problem: paperless workflow inside and outside the classroom. It was designed specifically for teachers, students and schools, by an experienced product team with previous award- winning, successful products in the edu ecosystem. We also offer one-to-one support to qualified teachers by phone, email or G+ Hangouts to help them plan their lessons using Handouts in the most effective way possible.” Rodrigo Benadon told us in an interview.
We know there are complete learning management systems out there but Handouts offers teachers a way to get the parperless workflow going without the need of a costly learning management system. Handouts can be used in a classroom setting or school wide.
