I gave up the good ole #FF on Twitter a few years ago but that doesn’t mean we still can’t have Follow Friday. Check out this great list of 10 techies to follow on Twitter for our first TechFaster Follow Friday:

tnkgrl2Myriam Joirie (@TnkGirl) Many of you know Myriam or Tank Girl from her Engadget days. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover Myriam is a tech teddy bear just don’t tell her I told you that. She loves talking about anything tech with anybody and everybody but today she’s talking Pebble watch as their head evangelist.

meandmgMG Siegler (@ParisLemon) He used to be TechCrunch’s outspoken Apple Fan Boy. He still pens a post every now and then for TechCrunch but he now works at Google Ventures where he’s on the cutting edge of technology. He got his investor feet wet working with Mike Arrington at CrunchFund who’s also on this list. Siegler has a strong opinion on everything tech and you can keep on the latest and greatest by following him on Twitter

mark-gurmanMark Gurman (@MarkGurman) we’d probably call mark Boy Genius if that name wasn’t already claimed by the real Boy Genius Jonathan Geller. Gurman is still in college but he’s had a ton of good scoops for Apple and at 9to5mac he’s one of the most respected Apple reporters on the planet. If you want to know what’s really going on at Apple you need to follow Mark on Twitter.

GellerJonathan Geller (@boygenius) Jonathan Geller is the real boy genius, many of us tech journalists remember when Geller would have to sneak into industry events that served alcohol as a writer for Engadget. Geller eventually branched out on his own to start the Boy Genius Report or BGR as it’s affectionately known now, one of the hottest destinations for tech and gadget news.

GabeRiveraGabe Rivera (@gaberivera) forget trying to game the Techmeme system. It seems that Gabe, TechMeme’s founder is always one step ahead of the Google Bots. His Twitter feed is a mashup of tech and humor on his Twitter profile he says “Sometimes I tweet what I mean. Sometimes I tweet the opposite. Retweets are endorphins.” definitely worth a follow.

KaraSwisherKara Swisher (@Karaswisher) is the cofounder of All Things Digital she’s been at the helm of many many new tech stories. She’s a ferocious reporter that gets to the bottom of things. Last year I stood in a room and watcher her predict that sensors would be the next big thing, and they are. She’s married to a Googler but doesn’t spare anyones feelings if it’s news it’s news and Kara breaks it. One of the most trusted names in tech news.

SethWeintraubSeith Weintraub (@llsethj) Seth is a good tech friend and the founder of 9to5mac where Mark Gurman writes. Seth is also the founder of 9to5Google and 9to5Toys so he runs the entire tech gambit. He’s always willing to lend a hand and advice and loves talking tech. You also gotta love someone who’s twitter handles is  based after an 80’s hip hop icon.

ElonElon Musk (@ElonMusk) often referred to as the Next Steve Jobs or even better than the Next Steve Jobs Musk is the outspoken member of the Paypal Mafia that has gone onto brighter things like you know electric cars, flying to space and this high speed train that will go from coast to coast in less than an hour. The world needs more thinkers like Musk but for now you have him and you can follow him on Twitter.

BiltonNick Bilton (@nickbilton) is the lead tech writer for the New York Times. He just published a book about Twitter and everyone knew he was the man behind the recent change in FAA rules about Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs). While being a newspaper man is hard these days Bilton does it more than well and he’s a highly recommended follow for Twitter.

parkerSean Parker (@sparker) what the heck is he doing now? He’s a one time Facebook guy (played by Justin Timberlake in the Social Network movie), one time Napster guy, one time Airtime guy and just had a multi million dollar wedding. He hangs out with the likes of Snoop Doggy Dogg and most people say he keeps it real. Sure his Twitter handle is first initial last name but it’s also “Sparker” which is bad ass.
