Gizmag-StoreNot many tech websites will write about the efforts of another, really, I think that unwritten rule is pretty stupid, especially when something really cool is going on.

Well our friends at Gizmag have been testing e-commerce for quite a while and this week they’ve finally unveiled The Gizmag Store. While ThinkGeek is great for geek culture, Gizmag is offering something different but equally as appealing to the connoisseur of the latest technology.

If you’re not familiar with Gizmag, it’s actually a technology geek, and early adopters haven for the technology coming in the immediate future. Just this week they’ve written about a folding bike that charges your phone, a new spin on the fruit basket and even Ferrari Land, in addition to the plethora of other gadgets and tech that the tech media is writing about.

Now they’ve taken a lot of the tech gadgets that they’ve written about, and perused the interwebs, trade shows and press releases to find the latest technology that they can actually put in their readers hands.  You can tell by looking at the offerings in the Gizmag Store that the items they are selling are being curated with the same degree of tech loving scrutiny that goes into their editorial pages.

You’ll find everything from a light set that turns your bicycle into a disco on wheels, to ultra slim iPhone recharging cases to lifetime access to over 4,000 adobe authorized training videos. The store, even in it’s new state, is chalk full of cool tech stuff.

My favorite category is their gadgets and gear category, and yes I’m considering that bicycle light set.
