No matter the conference or which topic/industry the conference is concerned with, we always pencil in a stop at the Griffin exhibit. The 2014 Florida Educational Technology Conference (FETC) is no different. While Griffin is a leader in many accessory categories, we were surprised to see how much work they have done in the classroom. As the classroom is rapidly changing, Griffin offers many products to help teachers and students alike keep up with the evolving education landscape.
Griffin Digital Testing Kit
As testing is becoming more digital in nature, Griffin offers a package to help educators keep up with this trend. The Digital Testing Kit bundles several Griffin products, which when combined make for an excellent testing hardware setup:
- The Griffin iPad Survivor Case – The Survivor Case is one of the most durable cases on the market, fully meeting the military grade requirements and standards.
- Griffin Crayola MyPhones – Durable, great-sounding headphones for kids with a built-in volume-limiting circuitry that keeps the sound pressure down to levels recommended as safe for young ears.
- Griffin Wired Keyboard – Standard wired keyboard.
These products combine to make a simple, straightforward testing kit.
A single MultiDock is designed for easy securing to a table, desk or countertop and comes with hardware to stack up to three units in one space with charging for 10 – 30 devices from a single computer. Available in two configurations: a single 10 bay unit and a stacked 30 bay cart complete with smooth rolling wheels, handle and a lockable laptop tray large enough to secure a 15” MacBook Pro
The MultiDock is absolutely perfect for classroom storage, and ensures that the devices are ready and charged anytime they are needed.
We had a chance to speak with the Griffin representative at the 2014 FETC. We were told all about the Griffin for Education, and were given a more in-depth look at some of their products:
