Tech media (including Techfaster) has often taken notice of some very late entries into Windows Phone for some very popular apps on the Android and iOS platforms. Most notably, Instagram and Vine.

Well, Rockstar lived up to their word in regards to the multiple mobile operating system launch of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

The popular title was released for iOS and Android last month and is now releasing GTA San Andreas.

This is probably the quickest turn around for a popular game or app to be released for Windows Phone. Of course Blackberry users are being left out in the cold but we’re not sure how many die hard Blackberry users would actually take the time away from email to play games much less create six second videos or post photos with filters.

Our friends at BGR suggest that if more developers can shrink the time it takes to get to Windows Phone it will shrink the “gap app” and perhaps bring more relevance to the fledging platform.

Do you have a Windows Phone device? Are you going to download Grand Theft Auto San Andreas? Sound off in the comments.
