We already told you about the pretty awesome FLOTE tablet stand, that wasn’t at the 2014 International CES. Now allow us to tell you about a pretty awesome tablet stand that was at CES.
Meet The tablift from Nbryte
This spider-like device is one of the more unique tablet stands that we have seen in some time. The tablift is aimed at the tablet user sitting on the couch as opposed to the user sitting in an office. According to the tablift product page:
The tablift was designed to address the problem of using your tablet in places like the couch and the bed (where 80% of tablet use takes place!). The tablift allows you to use your tablet in these places completely hands-free, giving you the freedom to sit or lie back and enjoy your tablet without having to hold it in your hands or rest it on your lap.
The tablift is a pretty ingenious concept, and there is considerable buzz around the tablet stand; Nbryte was able to raise a total of $82,300 on Kickstarter in 2012. The tablift is set to ship in Q2 of 2014, and will retail at a price of $59.95.
We had a chance to swing by the Nbryte booth during CES, where we were given a demonstration of the product in action:
