Admit it, when you go to your favorite sports bar or pub you get sucked into the thing that is Buzz Time. The popular game from NTN has swept the nation over the past decade. What started out as a way to play trivia in a bar has only gotten better with technology.
For those of you not familiar, or those of you who’ve never set foot in a sports bar, Buzz Time is the little trivia machine you get from the bartender that ties into TV screens scattered throughout the establishment. There are basically two types of games, poker and trivia. The trivia game is the most popular.
For the past decade people have loved competing playing buzz time. Typically you and a group of friends or family members gathers around the buzztime machine and waits for the questions to hit the screen. Then you use the BuzzTime console to input your answer and it shows your rankings to the whole bar.
Over the past few years BuzzTime has gotten more competitive by linking all BuzzTime establishments together so you can see where you rank across the entire US. They’ve also added a smartphone app that allows you to play along using your smartphone (but you have to be on site).
Well if you Love BuzzTime you’ll be glad to know that BuzzTime has re-upped with Buffalo Wild Wings for another three years. The national wing chain will convert all of it’s 955 locations to BuzzTime’s newest system called BEOND which lets customers play trivia, poker and arcade style games.
So if you love BuzzTime or you’re getting ready to spend a whole lot of football Saturdays and Sundays at Buffalo Wild Wings than be glad to know that BuzzTime will be around for at least three more years.
