When T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere penned his 2014 New Year’s Resolutions he included “Give AT&T a break… Or not” and so far he’s living up to the “or not” part, and people are digging it.

Legere is doing his best to shake up the wireless industry in the United States and it’s working. For instance last year the company did away with two year contracts, which despite being the fourth largest carrier in the US, set off a whirlwind of response from their competitors.

T-Mobile is changing the way we think about wireless and calling themselves the “uncarrier”. AT&T responded last week by offering T-Mobile customers specifically, up to $450 in cash back and credit offers for switching.

Legere taunted AT&T’s CEO Randall Stephenson on Twitter saying “you gave us cash & spectrum AND we took your customers with #Uncarrier moves, do you really think you can buy them back?”

He responded with the same sentiment in an official T-Mobile press release.

Well late Monday evening Venturebeat reported that Legere decided to crash AT&T’s Developer Summit wrap up party at the Palms, featuring musical guests Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis.

CNet’s Roger Cheng took to Twitter to announce Legere’s appearance. However shortly after Legere was removed by security.

While AT&T probably wasn’t thrilled with their competitor coming to their party, Legere quickly garnered lots of response on the Twittersphere none of it in favor of AT&T’s decision.

T-Mobile will hold a press event tomorrow that will highlight the next phase of “uncarrier” it’s doubtful that Stephenson will try and crash that one.
