TombRaiderWere you raised on Lara Croft and Tomb Raider? Croft has made such an impact in video gaming since arriving on the scene in 1996 that video games giant Gamestop has her listed in their executive leadership team as the Executive Vice President of Tomb Raiding and Relic Recovery. Yes most everyone who had a video game console in the 90’s loves Lara Croft.

If you want to take a nostalgic trip down memory lane, or if you’re a younger mobile gamer and want to see what all the hype is about, the original Tomb Raider is now available for iOS devices for just $.99.

The original Tomb Raider for iOS sticks to it’s original roots. Square Enix, the developer that released the game to mobile has confirmed that they haven’t messed with the original build in any way.

“We’ve not messed about with it, so it’s the full, unedited, unadulterated experience from the classic release at a super-low price,” it says in the game’s App Store description. “How better to find out if you’ve still got what it takes to beat a legendary game than by taking on the lost city of Atlantis and the pyramids of Egypt? It’s probably not for the faint of heart!”

The iOS version does include two additional levels from the 1998 expansion, reports TechnoBuffalo. The game supports controller support for iOS devices as well.
