Vine made an incredible splash when it was introduced last spring. The six second video service has become a destination for people that want to connect with funny or emotional videos but have the attention span of a grade school student with ADHD, which is just about all of us these days. Like many hit apps, Twitter’s Vine service hit iOS first and then Android.
So often we forget about Windows Phone and Blackberry but fear not the good people at the now public Twitter have not forgotten about you and in fact they’ve released their wonderful Vine experience to the Windows Phone community.
Engadget reported this morning that Vine for Windows Phone, along with the ability to pin vines to a Windows Phone Home Screen arrived today.
While Android users and iOS users have been enjoying Vine for months, Windows Phone users have a few extra features available to them. Windows Phone users can access Vine within their camera mode which gives you access to the Windows Phone lens feature. Also those of you fortunate enough to have the Nokia Lunia 1020 will be able to shoot Vine’s with incredible optics you won’t find on any Android device of iOS phone.
So go download Vine for Windows Phone here and then watch this video to learn how to Twerk.
