Looking through all of the various One Spark creator profiles, a few really stand out a huge, groundbreaking ideas. One such creator is Worldwide Multimedia Management. Although an incredibly young company, Worldwide Multimedia Management has some lofty goals. According to the companies website:
Worldwide Multimedia Management will supply its customers with more than a just simple way to stream their media. We will provide a secure way of purchasing, and streaming their media to any device they own, from anywhere in the world.
Our mission is to store, manage, and stream all your personal media on our servers to your devices so you can watch, listen, read, or play them anytime and anywhere you desire.1
The argument makes a lot of sense. There are countless sources and services that stream various media (right). However, these services do not stream what you already own. Worldwide Multimedia Management wants to be the location to store any and all of your media:
Imagine, unlimited space where you can store, expand and stream your media to any device you own. You can add as much media as you want and never pay for storage. You can put every book, song, movie, and video game on your own personal server and access it anywhere you have internet connection. Your media will be encrypted so no one will know what it is, and decrypted at your device so you will be the only viewer of the media.2
This is an incredibly lofty goal. However, One Spark is the perfect venue to fund such a goal. We will definitely be dropping by the Worldwide Multimedia Management booth.
