2014 CES

I was going back through our YouTube Channel, and noticed that we hadn’t posted a few of our videos from the 2014 International CES. These don’t really fit anywhere else, but they are cool nonetheless.

pepcomThese first two videos were taken at Pepcom Digital Experience, on January 6, 2014. The theme of the event was “The Wonderful Gizmos of OZ,” hence the picture to the left.

AnkiDrive

The first video, which is quite short, shows the Anki Drive racing game in action. Anki Drive is, as they call it, “battle racing for the real world.” Taking it further, here is a more detailed description of the racing platform:

Anki DRIVE™ uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver the first video game in the real world. Each car has been engineered to think, it knows where it is, makes decisions and drives itself. Using your iPhone®, iPod touch®, iPad® or iPad mini you can take control of a car to play against friends or AI cars

The next Pepcom video shows a crazy new product from Lenovo, the Horizon 2. This giant tablet is badass. Officially, the tablet is called the 27-in Lenovo HORIZON 2 multimode PC. Check it out:

The Horizon is amazing. I has a new sort of interface built in, Aura. Aura allows multiple users to interact with content on a single screen and easily send content from a phone or tab to Aura by placing it on the screen or shaking it near Horizon. Of all the hardware we saw at CES, this is my favorite. Just look at it in use:

Finally, this last video was shot at the Huawei booth, and doesn’t really have anything to do with the company. Anyhow, they had the legendary  B-BOY BAILROK – a semi-finalist on America’s Got Talent Season 5 – come and dance for the audience. It was pretty awesome. Enjoy:
