CultureHUB is an interesting One Spark project. The brain child of Tunji Fadiora, the founder and CEO of Creative Culture Media – a Jacksonville based new media group. Fadiora noted the inspiration for CultureHUB their One Spark Profile: “I have found that my passion lies in enabling creators , young creatives , and young entrepreneurs to express and share their ideas with the world.”¹ But what exactly is CultureHUB? Well this is how the project is described:

CultureHUB is a new media experience and technology for artist, filmmakers, musicians, entrepreneurs, photographers, authors, and creators of every kind. Users are able to discover, educate, store & share, monetize, and even order on demand manufacturing for their projects from within a simple and easy to use interface. The HUB will also feature resources from creatives and professionals categorized to make learning a new skill both simple and fun. One of the most inspiring features about the technology will be our “media wall” which will feature user generated media from across the world categorized, and available for users to browse & share.²

Interesting concept. Further, Fadiora elaborated that CultureHUB is undertaking a concerted effort to put people and community engagement first:

With Creative Culture & CultureHUB we want to put effort towards community events, workshops, and festivals that will not only get individuals participating in using the technology to share their own work but also allow them to connect and be inspired by others who are doing work similar to theirs. This project is different because it is about providing people with a unique and satisfying experience not only on their devices but in their communities and neighborhoods as well.³
