Sadly, this is not a joke. Multiple news sources, including BetaBeat are reporting that Christmas morning wasn’t a good day for the family of 18 year old Alexander Torres of Brockton Massachustts.

Enterprisenews.com reported, via BetaBeat, that the 18 year old Torres, pulled a knife on his father after a family scuffle broke out because the younger Torres did not receive the iPhone he wanted for Christmas.

“The suspect was fighting with everyone in the house and he pulled out a knife on his father,” Lt. Bruce Zeidman of the Brockton Police, told reporters. Zeidman had also reported that the scuffle was over the iPhone.

The 18 year old now faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. It’s unclear how the motor vehicle was damaged.

Now it looks like Torres may never get that iPhone.
