Ladibug – A Modern Overhead Projector

The Ladibug is incredibly interesting, and really a modern day overhead projector. It works in very much the same way as an overhead projector, but through a digital projector. StudentGlance – Automating Educators’ Most Mundane Task

Educators and school administrators spend an extraordinary amount of their time performing these tedious, mundane tasks. StudentGlance has a solution for one of the most tedious of these tasks: class list creation. As Carmen Conner - the CEO of StudentGlance - told us at FETC, elementary school teachers often create class lists using tedious manual techniques that often take hours and hours. Kindervention Helps Bring At-Risk Kindergartners Up to Speed

Kindervention - from Abrams Learning Trends - solves a very real problem in early childhood education. According to a statistic given on the Kindervention brochure (PDF), more than one-third of entering kindergartners don't know all their letter names. That is not the major problem, though. The problem arises out of a lack of resources. While many school districts perform diagnostic screenings of entering kindergartners, and often are able to identify the at-risk students. However, many teachers aren't afforded the time and resources to provide the additional instruction and support to these at-risk students.
