We just came across a wildly inventive new app: Georical. It is hard to explain, but we were able to ask the founder a few questions about the app. Rather than offer a butchered explanation, take a look at the answers below

Georical

 What does your company do?

Georical aims to let you access the world via the Centerlink, like the World Wide Web lets you access the internet

Why did you build Georical?

Its basically how I have always perceived the internet and what I hope to achieve is to become an extension of the world wide web by making the world accessible in a real way. In doing so we can organise, navigate the world and the internet like never before by aiming to make the world accessible. By laying that foundation we can move mountains in so many ways if you think about it deeply.

Why now?

With Tim Berners-Lee’s World Wide Web turning 25 earlier this year, I am hoping to contribute towards the next chapter of internet connected technology by hopefully making the world accessible just as the web made the internet accessible.

I think the next decade and beyond will belong to the company that can make sense of things and expand the digital ecosystem in a profound way in which I think the final social frontier would be to access the world and so there’s many elements to that idea that would make the next decade as exciting as ever as more people get online.

Tell us your founding story. Was there an “ah ha” moment?

It has been at the back of my mind probably ever since I learned about the concept of the internet

Tell us about your founding team and their backgrounds.

My name is Yan, I am a 21 year old lover of technology and art.

In the past I used to come up with product and business ideas for companies like Google, Facebook, Samsung, Sony, HP, Blockbuster, Tesco, BT, Virgin, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, SanDisk, Yahoo, UPS, Amazon, Nike, Adidas, RockStar Games, Infinity Ward and Casio as well as my own.

From that I naturally just live inside of my own head most of the time and so I think a lot about ideas and things in general. Previous to this, I had come up with an equally as ambitious idea in nature but have put that on the side believing that it will be the foundation for that idea amongst the foundation for other things.

What’s the next step? What are your short-term goals?

To grow the user base and hopefully attract seed and early stag funding to grow the idea
