At the stroke of midnight this morning Walmart began marking down their Halloween 2013 seasonal items and putting up Christmas decorations. Jewish people across the world are preparing for Chanukah which coincides this year with Thanksgiving and jolly husky people are turning in their Halloween masks for Santa suits.  We’ve already started sourcing our holiday gift guide and yes there are less than 30 days until Black Friday. Holidays 2013 are here.

With that in mind things are about to get really really busy. In the coming days I’m sure we’ll be telling you all about the hot technology gifts to get, the best apps to download to get the best shopping deals, and who did what in 2013. Things are about to get really hectic and we’re all about to go into that frantic pace we all love this time of year.

So while the Halloween decorations are coming down and the Christmas tree lots aren’t quite up yet, now is as good a time as ever to find some “unplugged time”. Unplugging is actually a very good thing (in moderation) especially for people who jones for technology and live and breathe this stuff. Before you unplug make sure you’re all caught up on your tech news from TechFaster and then check out the infographic below from the great people at Greatist.

If you’re scared (which admittedly I was the first time I unplugged) or unsure of exactly what to do, the infographic below will shed some light.
